Dr Christopher Walker
Areas of Expertise
Through his extensive work with cardiac patients, particularly those with heart failure, Dr Walker has developed a deep interest in iron deficiency and how it affects recovery, energy and overall outcomes. He understands how iron deficiency intersects with complex and chronic disease, and how addressing it can make a meaningful difference to a patient’s quality of life. At Revive & Reset, he brings this expertise into a holistic, patient-focused environment, offering thorough assessment and evidence-based treatment of iron deficiency, especially for individuals with complex medical backgrounds.
Professional Background
Dr Walker studied medicine at the University of London and completed his junior doctor and specialist training across London and Oxford. His training included a formative year at a major university hospital in Durban, South Africa, where he gained invaluable hands-on experience managing complex trauma, cardiothoracic and orthopaedic anaesthesia in a high-volume, high-acuity environment.
He then spent more than two decades at Harefield Hospital, one of the UK’s foremost cardiothoracic centres, caring for patients with complex cardiac disease. This long career at Harefield gave him exceptional expertise in the perioperative management of high-risk patients, including those with advanced heart failure undergoing major surgery. He now works at Cleveland Clinic London in perioperative medicine and anaesthesia, and maintains a broad anaesthetic practice across a variety of clinical settings.
Philosophy of Care
Dr Walker is committed to delivering thorough, evidence-based and patient-centred care. He takes time to understand each patient’s full medical history and individual circumstances, believing that effective treatment begins with truly listening. At Revive & Reset, he combines his depth of clinical experience with a holistic approach, helping patients understand the role iron deficiency plays in their health and guiding them towards safe, effective and lasting improvement.
